partial solar eclipse visible from Spain

On Tuesday January 4 we can see from Spain a partial solar eclipse.

The phenomenon can be seen at dawn about 8:45 am, the sun will come out and become partially eclipsed this event in a striking show on the horizon.

Its peak solar disk covered by 45% on at 8:50 pm and ended at 10:00 h its length.

This time the cone of shadow cast by the moon and it produces a vision of wholeness in a total eclipse, will not touch the ground so that from any the planet that is observable, is partial eclipse.

The event will be visible starting from Algeria and extending north from Africa, Europe, Arabian Peninsula, Middle East, West and Central Asia, sunset in Mongolia and northwestern China.

From Valverde and with the permission of the clouds we see

( SHIELD) from any place that has clean This horizon, we propose two here, Cliffs of Tinti and area former Municipal Landfill (lap enduro).

To observe the eclipse is essential to do it with adequate protection because otherwise we will suffer irreparable damage to our vision.

The next couple of pictures were taken on 18 December from the climb to Gorramendi. We were not in winter, but we were surprised two snowfalls. The vultures, always on the lookout, also take advantage to find food to withstand low temperatures.

Crying And Cough And Tired

At the top of a hill, 350 meters, are six-twenty in the afternoon of December. Sun a while ago that was hidden shyly among the remote mountains of southwest. It is a day of shame, the clouds pass quickly and the warmth is notable. My camera and I are witnesses to the memorial to the struggle for Maya Castillo six centuries ago, today a symbol of the independence of Navarra.
The next picture was taken for 2 minutes at F25 with the little light that remained. About 7 flashes were fired at the southern side of the monument to five feet away. The camera was operated at 5 meters by infrared remote control. The result was this, plus the light was reflected from the clouds swept in motion, one of my aims to take the picture.

Advance In winter solitude

Just three days into the month of December, a wave of cold air we visited leaving relatively low snow levels. At 200 meters altitude, the snow was seen clearly, but what was truly amazing in the mountains.

The following photos are at the top of Mount Alkurruntz on December 4, 2010 from two different points. You can see the snow blizzard that closed its surface, creating an astonishing picture.
