As cranes announced it last week (see entry below), the cold has arrived. Just as in the west of Navarre, the Basque Country, and many more areas of the peninsula has snowed heavily in the north and center of Navarra has barely snowed. This occurs when the wind is northeast component, so the Pyrenees mountain chain acts as a barrier to entry of clouds.
The next picture is taken on January 9 and nearly dark and starting to snow.
